Our Story
As our name suggests we are on onlookers - looking on at the world and making a visual document of it with a clear perspective.
Originally set up in 1997 by our founder James Ward, a cameraman and editor, we soon had commissions to film and edit a range of jobs from the building of the ABN AMRO bank in Bishopsagte London including live streaming the topping out ceremony from the 14th floor, to filming Siemens Mobile product launches across the globe for the likes of PR agency Weber Shandwick, Unilever and
As a camera crew we have filmed TV shows for the BBC and set up a TV channel on Youtube for Swarovski, which covered arts events across the globe
After nearly 30 years we continue to navigate our way through new technologies and the most creative approach to any given brief. In the last few years we have created several award winning video campaigns, profile films for SME's and several EPK's and behind the scenes marketing films for broadcasters such as Netflix, Amazon, BBC and C4.
I have been working with James for over twenty years during which time he has provided the highest
quality support as cameraman, director and editor. We have worked across an enormous range of sectors including fashion, pharmaceutical, technology and beverages. He has always offered me great advice when needed and is generally a great person to have as part of any production team. I can't recommend James enough and look forward to our next foray.
